Remarks: EC-DXU (cn 264) Story of a great plane: Now used by the SEI (emergency service and fire fighting) at TFN / GCXO for fire practicing. Only three aircraft were registered in Spain, both LAC and a third AVIACO, in 1965. It was fitted with four turbines of 1990 hp Rolls Royce providing a speed of 530 km/h. In September 1985, LAC acquired two units from British Air Ferries: DXU and DYC. They were used for flying between islands and to Morocco and Madeira.
